We are seeking an extremely skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance of climate control systems critical to production and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, air handlers, VAV systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct system diagnostics and performance testing to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements and environmental standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize temperature and humidity control for sensitive manufacturing processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements and system upgrades.
- Ensure adherence to safety codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Document all service and repair activities accurately.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- EPA Universal Certification required; additional HVAC licenses/certifications highly desirable.
- Expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including advanced controls and automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex system issues.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and programmable controls.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead small-scale HVAC projects.
