Production SupervisorFull-Time – Great Temp to Hire Opportunity!1st Shift – Monday to Thursday (Four 10-hour days + overtime as needed)
6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Salary Position)Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 (DOE)
Employment Type: Temp to HireGet paid every Friday!The Production Supervisor will lead a team of 10–12 machine operators and support daily production objectives in coordination with the Manufacturing Manager. This role ensures safe operations, monitors production performance, verifies product quality, and maintains schedules, accuracy, and efficiencies. Qualified Candidate Responsibilities

  • Execute the production schedule and provide training, coaching, and support to employees.
  • Perform job order audits for accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
  • Communicate job order activity, including short runs, overruns, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with projects, shop loading, and monitoring machine schedules.
  • Navigate work cell priorities including past-due orders, expedites, R&D work, and PPAPs from start to finish.
  • Work closely with operators on set-ups, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and overall production success.
  • Maintain safe operations by following and promoting all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements while maintaining strong time management and urgency.
  • Coordinate with material handlers to ensure operators receive raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control in WIP and proper return to stock after job completion.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure tools are serviced, plates and cutting boards are prepared, equipment repairs are completed, and routine PMs are maintained.
  • Assist with machine operation when necessary.
  • Support safety initiatives within the assigned work area.

People Management

  • Lead by example and act as a strong floor presence for the production team.
  • Promote best practices to establish high standards of behavior and performance.
  • Support cross-functional development through training and operator growth.
  • Maintain accountability for machine operators regarding proper machine use, work instructions, paperwork accuracy, timeliness, quality, and efficiencies.
  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees in a respectful and professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage workflow, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with machine operation or maintenance is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels.
