Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking Millwrights/Riggers to join our dynamic team for a short duration construction project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanics and maintenance, with proficiency in various technical skills. As a Millwright/Rigger, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00

  • If traveling for the duration of the project, lodging is covered and an additional $50 per day worked.

Duration:

  • 1 month, with potential for extension.

Schedule:

  • Mon - Fri (8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M), Saturdays are possible given project schedule and progress.
  • Thanksgiving Day (11/27/25) is optional to work.


Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability.
  • Utilize hydraulic systems for machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer needs.
  • Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in industrial rigging and/or millwright work (plant relocation, equipment installation, or similar).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and rigging charts.
  • Strong understanding of load calculations, rigging capacities, and mechanical alignment principles.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial platforms.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred: NCCCO or equivalent rigging certification a plus.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills desirable.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor, elevated positions).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
