Linken Contracting LLC is seeking skilled Carpenters/Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to perform various tasks related to building, renovations, maintenance and restoring structures. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time steady work year-round / 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday and some weekends, but not required)
Location: St. Louis, MO & surrounding areas
Pay: Based on experience | Starting at $18–$35/hour (Higher for experienced/skilled labor)
Responsibilities:
- Perform home repairs and maintenance (interior and exterior)
- Cleanouts, debris removal, yard maintenance
- Drywall repair and painting
- Minor plumbing and electrical work. Knowledge in code compliant plumbing, electrical is a bonus
- Kitchen and bath remodeling including tile work
- Framing, roofing and siding repair
- Fence and porch construction or repair
- Install fixtures and appliances when needed
- Follow instructions from project manager and document work with before/after photos
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and client expectations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to carry, lift, or hold building materials weighing 5 to 75 pounds
- Must have valid ID and reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the St. Louis area
- Own basic hand and power tools
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or on a team while staying on schedule
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
