We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Marketing and Communications to lead the development and execution of our School of Social Work's marketing efforts. In this role, you will work collaboratively to create and implement integrated marketing plans that are focused on our target audience. Your responsibilities will include developing compelling marketing content for various channels, coordinating visual design and brand standards, and utilizing both digital and print mediums to drive student enrollment. This is an on-ground position requiring adaptability and responsiveness to navigate both long-term projects and short-term needs throughout the year, contributing to the sustainability of our programs in an expanding market. Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Business, Marketing, or a related field</li>
<li>5 years of experience in marketing and communications</li>
<li>2 years of experience in digital marketing</li>
</ul>
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of recruitment marketing and online marketing strategies</li>
<li>Ability to creatively and compellingly communicate a brand's story</li>
<li>Cultural competency and ability to collaborate in a diverse team atmosphere</li>
<li>Strong writing, editing, and content distribution skills</li>
<li>Performance and optimization focus, with knowledge of goal setting</li>
<li>Familiarity with social media platforms, web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), and measurement</li>
<li>Strong collaboration, thought leadership, and facilitation abilities</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master's Degree in a related field</li>
<li>Experience creating web content through CMS (Drupal experience preferred)</li>
<li>Proficiency with web/social monitoring tools and project management tools</li>
<li>Experience in higher education or public sector</li>
<li>Fluency with current technology developments, digital tools, and social media platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems</li>
<li>Expertise in using web design software, web design, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of email marketing tools, webinar platforms, Salesforce CRM, and Slate</li>
