About the Role:
River Valley Lawnscape is seeking an experiencedSnow Removal Operatorto join our team for the winter season in Red Wing, MN. This position involves operating a plow truck to clear snow from parking lots, driveways, and roadways in a safe and efficient manner. Work hours will vary depending on snowfall, with typical shifts lasting 410 hours during and after snow events. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate snowplow trucks and related equipment
- Clear snow from assigned properties and ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians
- Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed
- Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections
- Communicate with supervisors or dispatch regarding route completion and conditions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a snowplow for snow removal (required)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as weather requires
- Reliable, safety-minded, and punctual
Compensation:
- $30/hour
- Paid for actual hours worked (410 hour shifts depending on snow events
