Job DescriptionNow Hiring Metal Finisher/Final - 1st Shift

• Location: Kings Mountain, NC
• Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must be open to work Friday, Sat when production dictates)

About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated Metal Finisher to perform crucial surface preparation and finishing tasks on truck cab components. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality standards before the final paint application.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Surfaces: Grind, sand, file, and fill metal surfaces (steel and aluminum) of truck cab parts to achieve a flawless finish for painting.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect parts to identify and correct defects, scratches, or imperfections, ensuring strict adherence to quality specifications.
• Equipment Operation: Use various power and hand tools, including grinders, orbital sanders, long boards, and body filler tools, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain Workstation: Keep a clean and organized work area, following all 5S and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience (1+ years preferred) in metal finishing, auto body repair, fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools for grinding and sanding.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free work.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment (bending, kneeling, reaching).
