Job Summary:Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Operator for its 1st shift in Arlington, TX. This role plays a vital part in our manufacturing operations by ensuring precision machining and adherence to quality standards. The position is temp-to-hire, offering a pathway to long-term employment for high-performing candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines according to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform setup, including tooling and fixture installation.
- Provide first article to QC Supervisor or Lead for approval.
- Periodically inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and piece counts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all material traceability procedures.
- Organize and clean work area 15–20 minutes before shift end.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience with first article inspections and quality control documentation.
- Background in working with high-speed production or precision machining environments.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in CNC machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tool and fixture setup.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
