Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:
\n
• Provide pre-operative admitting and PACU discharge services
\n• Work with patient ratios of 1:3 for phase 2 and 1:2 for phase 1
\n• Required 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend call per month (48-hour weekend call)
\n• Self-scheduling with 3-4 weekend shifts per contract
\n• 40 hours of orientation required
\n• Must have 2 years of nursing experience and travel experience
\n• Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS (all must be AHA certified)
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Handle approximately 5 visits per day in 10-room unit
\n• Work with various surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, endoscopy, and OB GYN procedures
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• Valid state license required at time of submission
\n• 50-mile travel requirement applies
\n• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
