The role will play a key role in improving production processes, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and supporting day-to-day operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with CNC programming, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and process optimization to ensure smooth production performance.

**Responsibilities:

Advise on manufacturability with your understanding of machining methods to match our selection of equipment and applications.

Leverage your expertise in GD&T and inspection principles to analyze drawings, CAD data, parts lists, and other technical specifications to properly determine the scope of work and ensure that parts meet specified tolerances.

Provide daily engineering support to operations, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal downtime.

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining centers to improve cycle times, quality, and consistency.

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes through data-driven methods, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve process and equipment issues.

Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve productivity and quality.

Maintain accurate process documentation, work instructions, and CNC setup sheets.

Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing and validating manufacturing processes.
**Requirements:
**

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering software. Preferably MasterCam, SolidWorks, and Vericut.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in machining or fabrication.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and root cause analysis.

Practical experience with composite laminate materials and exotic plastics is highly preferred.

Solid grasp of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and demonstrated ability to apply them to precision machining.

Experience in machine tool measurements to ensure a higher level of accuracy in cutting applications. Renishaw preferred.

Capacity to excel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to maintain a steadfast commitment to consistently producing top-quality work.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent experience).

Experience in CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, or similar control systems) required.
