First Team Staffing is looking for: Roll-Fed Print Operator – Nashville, TN
Pay: $17–$22/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible start times: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM)
Overtime: May be required; weekend/holiday work as needed
About the Role:
First Team Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Roll-Fed Print Operator to join our Nashville production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in producing high-quality printed materials. You’ll play a critical role in meeting production schedules, maintaining printer performance, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain high-volume roll-fed printers to deliver consistent, high-quality prints
- Monitor and manage production schedules, balancing multiple print jobs efficiently
- Review job tickets and client data for accuracy; correct discrepancies as needed
- Ensure print quality and compliance with internal quality standards and client specifications
- Track and log printer issues, maintenance, consumables, and spoilage
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot and optimize print operations
- Secure proper client and internal approvals before releasing jobs
- Maintain organized electronic and physical job ticket systems
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent education, or 6–12 months of relevant printing/production experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs., bend, stack materials, and operate pallet jacks
- Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
