CNC Machinist/Programmer – 1st Shift, Macomb, MI
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong machining and programming capabilities, a team-focused attitude, and a desire to grow within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery
- Utilize WorkNC daily to program and operate equipment
- Input product designs into computer modeling software
- Select and load proper cutting tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues during manufacturing
- Perform in-process and final quality checks
- Train new team members on machine operation procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical models
- Perform rework and verify all measurements prior to machining
- Enter correct feed, speed, and toolpath codes
- Complete routine machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies, safety rules, and PPE requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of CNC machining/programming experience
- WorkNC experience – highly preferred
- Experience with manual machines (drill press, Bridgeport, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent team player with a great attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- High School Diploma required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to walk up to 1⁄2 mile at a time; stair navigation required
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, crawl, and move parts safely
- Comfortable working around loud, industrial machinery in a production setting

- 1st Shift
- 6:45AM – 5:15PM
