Our client, Detroit Living Management, located in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking dynamic, customer service focused Leasing Consultants to join the Company. The Leasing Consultant role is vital to championing the beautiful properties in the Detroit community, working in the heart of the city! Detroit Living Management provides residential living opportunities in historic and new construction apartments in some of Detroit’s best neighborhoods.

Leasing Consultants are responsible for marketing the vibrant culture and lifestyle of properties and providing excellent customer service. Primary responsibilities include greeting visitors, presenting the features, options, and benefits of the apartment community in a professional manner, and properly securing lease agreements.

Ideal candidates are self-starters, with exceptional customer service skills, a drive to succeed, have excellent time management, and are able to work a flexible schedule when needed. These are full-time roles; generally, Monday to Friday schedule, onsite roles, where some evenings or weekends may be required. Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all leases from potential and existing clients.
  • Coordinate property viewings, follow-ups and updating of contact management database.
  • Market all rental listings
  • Coordinate and schedule lease applications and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Execute new lease agreements and coordinate move-in processes.
  • Prepare all lease-related paperwork.
  • Manage regulatory and compliance related services.
  • Respond to queries/leads and conduct property inspections.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in similar leasing consultant role or a similar related field
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to change

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
  • Strong time management skills that require minimal supervision
  • Required ability to commute to the Detroit, MI 48214 area
