Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care experience, BLS, a NC or compact RN license, and strong EPIC skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position based in a hospital case management setting
- Focus on case management and utilization review including discharge planning, needs assessment, and DME order coordination
- Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including two weekdays and two weekend days
- Float required to any campus within the health system as needed
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Duties include discharge planning, needs assessment, coordinating durable medical equipment, and developing plans of care
- Familiarity with CMS regulatory requirements is expected
- Modules completed during orientation will be unit-specific and take approximately 2-4 hours
- Orientation includes non-billable modules and may involve additional compliance steps
- Strong punctuality is expected due to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- No first-time travelers will be considered for this position

- Active NC or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- Previous acute hospital experience required
- Experience in at least one of the following specialties: ICU, Med/Surg, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Observation
- Prior charge nurse experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- All candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed
- Education must be verifiable and not from a school listed on the Florida Education Audit list
- No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
