Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Round Rock area to hire anexperienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler III

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler III is a member of the production team responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components according to engineering specifications, drawings, and bills of materials. This role performs complex wiring, assembly, and fabrication tasks while supporting junior team members and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm (with overtime as needed)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems, wiring harnesses, and sub-assemblies following blueprints and schematics.
• Perform electrical wiring and conduit bending; fabricate or modify parts using hand and power tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections, electrical testing, and precise measurements to ensure quality compliance.
• Read and interpret complex manufacturing drawings, process sheets, and quality standards.
• Operate various shop equipment, including overhead cranes, testing tools, and machining equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for all completed work.
• Adhere to safety policies, including ESD and ISO 9001 standards.
• Provide guidance to less experienced assemblers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical assembly experience, or 6–10 years of similar electrical/mechanical work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ESD controls and manufacturing safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and perform repetitive manual tasks.

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, electrical components, and airborne particles.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and provided.
• Standing, bending, and manual handling throughout the shift.
