Job Description

We are seeking dedicated material handlers to join our team on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and D shifts. Successful candidates will begin with training during the first week on day shifts. We are looking for individuals with experience in inventory, material handling, packaging, and labeling who are eager to join our team for the long term. As a Materials Assistant, you will be responsible for performing site warehousing functions that support overall manufacturing operations and other customer-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow quality and safety policy guidelines, customer specifications, and adhere to regulatory compliance.
• Work independently without supervision and escalate information as necessary to leaders for urgent tasks.
• Adapt quickly to change and demonstrate proficiency in priority management and decision-making.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in improving the work environment.

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to interpret, receive direction, and apply both written and oral communication.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to learning new tasks and moving to new areas to meet changing customer demands.
• Ability to work in multiple areas as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift, reach, push, and pull up to 45 pounds.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and orderly manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and moderate noise levels. Shifts include: 1st Shift - Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 2nd Shift - Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm, 3rd Shift - Mon-Fri 10pm-6am, D Shift - CURRENT - Tues, Weds, Thurs, every other Friday 6pm-6am (will change to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday 6pm-6am on 12/7).

This is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.60/hr.
