Job Description

Martin Surveying Associates, LLC is seeking a CAD Draftsperson/Survey Technician to support our growing workload of boundary, topographic, site development, and construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drafter who wants to work in a fast-paced, professional land surveying environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and improvement location surveys
  • Prepare construction layout plans, as-builts, and utility mapping
  • Process field data and ensure accurate field-to-finish drafting
  • Review, interpret, and incorporate client plans, engineering drawings, and record documents
  • Work closely with project managers and field crews
  • Maintain CAD standards and organized drawing files

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
  • 2–3+ years of surveying or civil drafting experience
  • Strong understanding of survey terminology, coordinate systems, and mapping standards
  • Ability to read engineering and architectural plans
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with field-to-finish workflows is a plus
