We are looking for a Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer passionate about leveraging AI to discover and translate clinical data (structured and unstructured) into actionable insights, prescriptive analytics and treatment guidance for healthcare providers engaged in value-based care.
This role involves architecting, developing, and supporting advanced AI computing resources and AI-enabled services.
The ideal candidate will lead the charge in implementing scalable, high-performance computing infrastructures for AI/ML and data mining, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative AI solutions from conception to deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable AI/ML computing infrastructures and application stacks.
- Collaborate with scientists communities, data analysts, and business stakeholders to design and deploy AI solutions.
- Develop and demonstrate AI use-cases, conducting workshops and training sessions to foster AI adoption.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in AI/ML, data mining, and analytics.
- Document architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and standard operating procedures for AI solutions.
- Provide expert consultation on AI-related standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for AI computing infrastructure.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in AI and ML to enhance institutional capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field. PhD preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years in high-level architecture design and solution development for large-scale AI/ML systems.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch), time series analysis, predictive modeling, and NLP.
- Proven track record in industry use cases utilizing deep and machine learning techniques.
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, deep learning architectures, and text analytics with NLP.
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML; experience with graph databases, neural networks, and MLOps.
- Knowledge of high-performance AI computing platforms, Linux, and shell scripting in AI computing environments.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking in systems capacity planning, hardware and software updates, and migration.
