Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent Manufacturer in the Reedsville, PA area, is seeking a Senior Tooling Technician to join their team. This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Senior Tooling Technician Summary
Direct Hire/Full Time
Day Shift: Wed-Sat 7am - 5:15pm
Pay: Up to $45.71hour. (DOE)

Benefits: Full Benefits/Vacation (Benefits Eligibility on 1st Day of Employment)
401K: 6% Match
- Modify molds, dies, and tooling components using precision machining techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop tooling solutions for plastics manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance on molds, dies, and tools to optimize performance and extend their lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with molds and tools and implement effective repair solutions.
- Conduct repairs, adjustments, and modifications to molds and tools to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.
Senior Tooling Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or education preferred).
- Journeyman preferred
- 10 + years with precision tooling
- Strong tooling background to include experience in close tolerance grinding, lathes, and mills.
- Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills.
- Proficient in repairing molds, dies, and tools.
- Process knowledge (including electronic).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with hot runner systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
