Dye and Chemical Weigher
- Maiden, NC
- $16-$18.00 per hour
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Job Summary:
Arthur Services is seeking an experienced Dye and Chemical Weigher to join a leading facility in Maiden, NC. This role is essential to production, ensuring accurate weighing, measuring, and preparation of dyes and chemicals used in the textile manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Weigh and measure dyes and chemicals according to production specifications
- Mix and prepare chemical solutions for the dyeing process
- Ensure accuracy of formulas and record all measurements and usage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels of chemicals and assist with restocking as needed
- Collaborate with production staff to meet daily production goals
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dye weigher, chemical weigher, or in a similar manufacturing role (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring/recording
- Ability to follow formulas, recipes, and safety procedures
- Must be comfortable working around chemicals and wearing proper PPE
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
