Job Title: 3rd Shift Filler Stacker
Job Summary:
The 3rd Shift Filler Stacker is responsible for filling, sealing, and stacking finished product bags and totes according to customer specifications. This position requires strict attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill and stack finished product bags and totes according to established specifications.
- Operate filling, sealing, and stacking equipment accurately and safely.
- Read and interpret cover sheets, forms, bag labels, pallet tags, and other identification methods to ensure proper product usage.
- Record necessary information on the Blender Log and other production forms.
- Accurately read and record digital scale and equipment readings.
- Conduct and document system checks including, but not limited to, metal detection and bag weights.
- Take product samples as required for quality control.
- Make necessary adjustments to equipment to maintain product within specification.
- Stack bags on pallets in a square, stable, and organized manner according to format requirements.
- Safely operate a Powered Hand Industrial Truck (pallet jack).
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a sanitary and orderly condition.
- Follow all company policies including Safety Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Critical Hygiene Area rules, and Human Resource guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements:
- Sufficient reading and writing skills in English.
- Ability to lift at least 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Attention to detail when operating equipment and recording data.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record.
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
- Ability to work well under supervision and follow instructions from both supervisors and utility personnel.
