Job Description

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire High Level Assemblers for our Romeoville client.

Shift: 1st - 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, Overtime when is needed.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Job Details:

Responsible for performing precision smoothing, polishing, and grinding of metal objects
Checks drawings to determine assembly and any special options
Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for the job. Contacts Assembler Lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in bins
Maintain hand tools, equipment, inventory, and any necessary supplies
Checks drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, checks drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, and any special options
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order
From experience, resolves assembly problems. Reports other problems to line mechanic or supervisor for assistance
Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies

Job Requirements:

3+ years of assembly / manufacturing experience
Ability to handle physical workload; pull/push and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
