We are currently looking to hire a Child Development Specialists to join our interdisciplinary team. The position entails a flexible work schedule, providing individual services to children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays at clients’ homes and/or daycare. We offer competitive rates of up to $40 per hour*, drive time, mileage and toys reimbursement. Key ResponsibilitiesDuties:
- 1:1 treatment in clients’ homes or daycare centers
- Provide parent education, training, and support
- Collaborate with other clinicians as needed/requested to ensure quality of care
- Develop treatment plans, take session notes, submit progress reports in a timely manner
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum Requirements:
- Previous experience working with developmentally delayed children and/or a degree in related field
- Positive, high energy, enthusiastic, and flexible demeanor
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license
- Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current, negative TB test
- Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented
- Multilingual speaking/reading/writing skills are a plus
Pay RateThe professional rate for this position is up to $45/hr for time spent in sessions providing therapy services directly to the consumer; drive time and mileage reimbursement will be compensated at the applicable minimum wage and mileage reimbursement rate. The actual wage rate offered will vary based on several key factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's skill set, proficiency in relevant languages, years of professional experience, and the geographical location of the candidate.
