Summary of Position Mission
The Assembler I plays an important role in the growth and development of manufacturing of Century Arms. The individual will be responsible for supporting manufacturing production through disassembly, preparation, and complete assembly of firearms and firearm components. The position requires an individual who will be hands on and will use their technical ability, critical thinking skills, and leverage industry techniques to assemble precision firearms.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble firearms using hand tools and sort components.
- Perform complete assembly of firearms, including installation of hand guards, rear sights, pistol grips, magazine catches, and butt stocks.
- Properly use company-provided tools and document/report any changes to established tool limits or torque settings.
- Inspect, evaluate, grade parts and firearms per company standards.
- Transport materials, supplies, and finished goods with care.
- Utilize the company ERP system to track product through production.
- Maintain sound knowledge and application of firearm safety protocols.
- Perform test fires on assembled firearms as needed.
- Conduct initial self-inspection to ensure accuracy and minimize defects.
- Meet established daily production goals.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform weekly 5S maintenance.
- Adhere to all company employment, safety, and PPE policies.
- Immediately report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
- Exhibit respect, courtesy, and professionalism toward all co-workers and the Company.
- Other duties assigned as required.

- General mechanical ability is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with hand tools
- Adhere to essential functions of position such as attendance and timeliness.
- Ability to accept and follow directions.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes, and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate, including sounds from light manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and office equipment. No known environmental hazards are present during normal job duties.
