Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial programmer. Someone driven; go getter; who eventually wants to be their own boss
- Set up and writes CNC programs for Okuma & Hurco CNC Mills and turning centers
- Programming extremely close tolerance parts
- Focused on plastic and alloy machining
- Create strategies for machining operations & designate the proper tooling to ensure quality & cost effective delivery
- Study and interpret drawings and specs to coordinate set up
- Meet & improve quality standards to reduce rework and non conformance
Qualifications
- Ability to use gages & measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience creating CNC programs
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and machining centers
- Must be well versed in programming and utilizing Solidworks
- Read and interpret dimensional drawings, tolerances
- Capable of verifying own work with micrometers and calipers
- Motivated, Independent, Entrepreneurial Spirit
