Job Description
Join our team as a Miter Saw Operator, where you will work the first shift from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Occasional full-day work or Saturday shifts may be required. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate a miter saw to cut metal pieces to specified lengths based on blueprints.
- Utilize an iPad to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ensure precise measurements using a tape measure.
- Maintain accurate data entry and paper documentation for all work completed.
- Apply your fabrication or construction background to ensure quality outcomes.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating a miter saw and bandsaw.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with machine operation and setup.
- Skilled in using a tape measure accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Background in fabrication and working with metals.
- Experience in welding is beneficial.
- Finish carpentry skills are an advantage.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
