Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time MBO Folder Operator to join our fast-paced commercial printing team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain MBO folding equipment to produce top-quality folded materials used in direct mail, marketing collateral, and print campaigns. This position plays a key role in ensuring every project meets client specifications and our internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate MBO folding machines to meet job requirements and production goals.
- Interpret job tickets, layouts, and production instructions to ensure accurate folding configurations.
- Perform quality checks throughout runs to maintain precision in folds, alignment, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with press operators, bindery, and finishing teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Track job progress, record production data, and report any discrepancies or machine malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience operating MBO folding machines or similar print finishing equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues independently.
- Knowledge of commercial print production processes and folding specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a collaborative production team.
Schedule & Compensation
- Position Type: Full-Time, On-site
