Job Title: Calibration Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our team. The role involves calibrating electrical test and measurement equipment, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and providing customer support on equipment performance. This position requires a proactive approach, with the possibility of occasional early starts or late finishes, and optional Saturday work.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate electrical test and measurement equipment from production according to established procedures.
- Calibrate customer units returned for service.
- Complete and maintain calibration documentation.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Work independently to achieve desired results.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and applications assistance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
- 2-3 years of experience as a Calibration or Test Technician.
- A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.
- Experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
- Proficiency in using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools; SMT soldering and de-soldering is a plus.
Work Environment
Enjoy working in a relaxed industrial environment with a small team of around 20 employees. You'll have your own workspace and will perform tasks involving prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and equipment testing and calibration. The role requires good eye-hand coordination and the ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockport, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.50 - $47.60/hr.
