CNC Machine Operator Position Overview:
Operate CNC machines
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Change tools
- Make offsets
- various paperwork.
- Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
- Minor troubleshooting
- Part in process inspection
Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):
- 2 years experience as an Operator or cnc trade school certification
- Basic experience with CNC machines
- Knowledge and experience with Swiss Screw Machines is preferred not necessary. (swiss type preferred)
- Experience using the Fanuc control preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude
- Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques
- Mechanically inclined
