Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Assemble components into final configured products using process instructions, engineering drawings, work orders, fixtures, and hand tools.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, and visual aids; recommend process improvements.
- Perform rework from test failures following standard repair procedures; incorporate ECNs as needed.
- Prep, insert, hand-solder, touch up, and rework electronic components on circuit boards.
- Inspect products at required intervals and verify accuracy and quality.
- Provide training and support to lower-level assemblers as needed.
- Operate material-handling equipment and set up/operate assigned machines and tools.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Follow lead instructions when building units.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of related assembly experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools (torque wrench, drills, inspection tools).
- Ability to use measuring devices (rulers, tape measures, scales).
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.
Desired Qualifications
- IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certifications.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Work Environment
- Production environment.
Physical Demands
- Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
