Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Assemble components into final configured products using process instructions, engineering drawings, work orders, fixtures, and hand tools.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, and visual aids; recommend process improvements.
  • Perform rework from test failures following standard repair procedures; incorporate ECNs as needed.
  • Prep, insert, hand-solder, touch up, and rework electronic components on circuit boards.
  • Inspect products at required intervals and verify accuracy and quality.
  • Provide training and support to lower-level assemblers as needed.
  • Operate material-handling equipment and set up/operate assigned machines and tools.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Follow lead instructions when building units.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of related assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (torque wrench, drills, inspection tools).
  • Ability to use measuring devices (rulers, tape measures, scales).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.

Desired Qualifications

  • IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Work Environment

  • Production environment.

Physical Demands

  • Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
