We're seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers with 2+ years of experience in a facility or in-home setting to become part of our Home Instead family! As a Caregiver with Home Instead, you play a vital role in the lives of the seniors we serve, and your work truly makes a difference. We have immediate openings for a variety of shifts: days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Our service areas include Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, and the surrounding Rogue Valley communities.
Responsibilities include:
The responsibilities include helping seniors thrive from the comfort of their home by building lasting relationships, engaging in household activities, and assisting in personal hygiene care (toileting, bathing, etc). Home Instead provides non-medical care that allows seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. You must be able to:

Have the ability to communicate professionally with clients.

Provide companionship and engage in conversation.

Display the ability to treat seniors and their property with respect.

Provide direct care to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.

Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Assist with personal care, including toileting and incontinence issues.

Provide medication reminders, assistance or administration.

Complete light housekeeping tasks and meal preparations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of client's home.

Run errands and have transportation.

Provide stabilization and assistance with walking and transferring.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have a reliable car and current auto insurance

Must have weekend availability
-
Must be able to pass a criminal and Orchards background check
-
Experience with personal care is preferred (assistance with toileting, incontinence, bathing, grooming) Must be willing to do this task.

Experience with transfer equipment and caregiving tasks preferred

Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia patients preferred.

Must be able and willing to lift, push and pull 25lbs
