Lange Customs is looking for a new Team Member!
This rare opening is a full time position for an experienced craftsman that can work independently or with a team. This person should have a good attitude, be a problem solver, and be very detail oriented.
Job duties would including all aspects of cabinet layout and construction as well as cabinet installation.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Cabinet Drafter / CNC Operator to join our production team. This hybrid role involves creating accurate cabinet drawings using CAD software and operating CNC equipment to produce cabinet components and Custom Fabricated. The ideal candidate has a background in woodworking, understands cabinet construction, and is proficient with CAD and machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting Duties:

Create precise 2D and 3D cabinet drawings and shop drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, KCD).

Translate architectural plans and design concepts into manufacturing-ready blueprints.

Modify and update drawings based on client changes or production requirements.

Ensure all drawings meet company and industry standards for fabrication and installation.
CNC Operation Duties:

Set up and operate CNC machines for cutting, drilling, and shaping cabinet components.

Interpret technical drawings to program or input cutting specifications.

Perform regular machine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy, and alignment with design specs.
Qualifications:

Required:
-
2+ years of experience in cabinet drafting or millwork design.

Proficiency with CAD software (Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, KCD, or similar).

Experience operating CNC machinery in a woodshop or cabinet-making environment.

Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and joinery.

Technical degree or certification in drafting, woodworking, or manufacturing.

Familiarity with optimization software and G-code programming.
